Summer

Sound Installation/ Mixed Media

“Summer” is a sound installation that challenges the notions of isolation, solitude, waiting, and absence.

The installation presents a lamp object in both physical and virtual spaces. Displayed in two separate rooms, the lamp connects light and sound between two parallel worlds: the physical and the imagined, the communal and the private. The installation frames isolation as a human condition through references to water - its sound, its imagined presence, its sensory suggestion.
